Got my reverb transformer back and in. UUUUGHH WEAKEST REVERB I've ever had in an amp still. I gotta turn up the verb nearly max to get a noticable verb. Hmmm love the sounds of this amp but some of the neg comments are coming true for me unfortunatley....... :scared:

My reverb is very subtle too...when it works.

I think mine started sounding bizarre again though. At this point I feel like i would need to compare it to a brand new amp to even know what is "normal". Might just take it to this awesome tech I know and have him look it over because I do not have the time to tinker with this anymore (gradschool)

my reverb wasn't weak at all guys....somethings up would be my guess

rg,
take your effects loop tube out and put it in the reverb tube slot (efx tube is v7, reverb is v6)..switch them. see if it improves. if so, you have a bad tube.

if not, next, if you feel comfortabl, open your amp and see if the spade connectors for the black and green wires are loose. there are only 4 wires from the rev. tranny...red and blue and they are the rca connectors..you dont need to concern with them right now....and black and green...check and see if they're loose. if so, i soldered mine as they had wiggled loose in my combo amp. a TM head may or may not need soldering. dont overheat them or the spade will come right out of the board....make sure your iron is nice and hot, touch to the top of the connector and put a small amount of solder..thats all you need...dont overdo it...it'll fuck the board up.

next, if reseating(or soldering the connectors to the board spades) doesnt work, then you need to trouble shoot with a multimeter...and that is in that other thread that Shimmylou helped me on....i believe he posted here.

im going to quit typing now, and go play a long, melancholy ballad since my Penguins lost the series to the flyers.

boooo flyers!

got mine. resoldered the red wire that it came with (unattached) to the inside wire, slapped it in, wired it up.....

good to go.

sounds great now again!
