Trump's E. Jean Carroll case is 'about damages, not whether he did it or not'

He poked first. I don’t consider it being “targeted” when it’s towards something he’s willfully doing.
By “poke” I mean disturb, upset, stymie. By “target” I mean retaliate by whatever means are available, especially including prosecution for offenses that would otherwise not be pursued. Do you see the dynamic some other way?

These dudes cannot think beyond their corporate media programming.. "Orange Man Bad". :ROFLMAO:

Trump is part of the same ruling oligarchy as Biden, but these idiots will never say anything about Biden running this country into the ground.

I believe trump was elected because people hate the “system”. And this system “started it” by disenfranchising the backbone demographic of our country (white middle class traditional) by prioritizing war, illegal immigration, minorities of all types, corporations and government itself. “The system” has gone all out in these pursuits, leaving average Americans in the dust. So when people see trump persecuted for challenging the system, it just verifies the belief that the system is against them.

That's the view from 6' above ground.

What does it look like from 1,000' AGL ?

I agree. We all knew this, so why is anyone surprised that Trump is beginning to pay for challenging it?
Everything he is being charged for are things that he did. Whether you think they were wrong or not is a personal choice, but it has nothing to do with being unfair

Story makes zero sense. That store has a bazillion employees that watch over you like a hawk. How tf is someone raped in a store in 3 minutes? So fucking dumb.

I believe it was Stalin that said show me the man and I’ll show you the crime. The federal registry is 85,000 pages long. It’s been claimed the average person commits three felonies a day. The point is that trump is being targeted, not that he didn’t do these things, although that itself is questionable. For example he is being taken off ballots for ‘insurrection’, a crime he was never even charged with.

Eh I don’t really give a shit about any of that. He wanted the attention, he got the attention and he fucked up the opportunity.

As for the original intent of what I’m talking about, i.e. the topic of this thread, he’s a douche bag and now he’s paying for it. That isn’t TDS. It’s just the way it is

So in other words you don’t care about political persecution, runaway government and a failing country. What do you care about?

I don't get worked up about things I can't control. It's in the courts, decisions will be made. If he isn't found guilty of the insurrection stuff, I will certainly hope they amend the laws to not keep someone off a ballet for that reason (though I find it highly unlikely it will ever come up again).
I do believe our country is fucked but I don't believe Biden or Trump is the answer. I don't have the answer either, but I don't think it is them.

He has not even been charged with insurrection. I agree no President will fix things, and that the left/right paradigm is dumb. But I’m still curious, what gets you worked up?

I combine insurrection with the whole overturning the election thing. I know they aren't the same, but it's the same to me. Just actions of an insufferable sore loser.
