Really enjoying the new Neural DSP Archetype: Rabea. The synth is an awesome addition that sparked a bunch of ideas. Also, the "transpose" function works really well to drop the tuning of your guitar. Even works well on bass. Hope you dig it!

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I’ve always thought rabea is overrated. Never cared much for his tone. Or his playing. But, when Rob Chapman made rabea his minion rabea became wildly popular. He has some awesome endorsements and even has a signature model guitar. Rabea wins.

I guess if you have a shit ton of subscribers like rabea, who will throw down cash to buy the latest rabea signature products, you get some bitchin endorsements.

I think Zach should be in the position of rabea. He is a rad player who plays things that actually sound good, has feel (that awesome clean riff with the hollowbody), and has some thick and fat riffs, killer tones, and has great production skills. He is highly underrated.

I agree. In music it seems that good promotions or connections is what gets guys results rather than the quality of the product or playing. That being said, Zach has almost 12,000 subscribers on YouTube and well deserved. That’s very solid imo. If I can get even half that many one day I’d be pretty happy with that

I'm using stl and I discovered the chainsaw eq and instantly tuned to drop c and started chugging wolverine blues. These plugins can be cool but there's no substitute for moving air and pissing people off.

This guy is mediocre player at best, nowhere at Rabea’s level, technically, writting or feeling. I am not so crazy with Rabea sound but works for him and his music. Did You ever heard any of his albums or collabs ?
I always hear tons of ear piercing high end in this demos and not enough balls. This is just terrible tone if You have healty ears  For example JCM800 demo, the amp sound like broken 😀

I think Zach’s demos sound good myself.

Zach’s demos are some of the best out there. High quality, consistent, great player. Dude is the antithesis of mediocre.

Hey, can't win em all. Appreciate the kind words folks. Also, for what it's worth, I think Rabea is a seriously monster player and I have nothing but respect for his playing, production, and all that he's accomplished. Of course everything is subjective and everyone's entitled to their opinions but personally, I'd much rather see people being creative, putting themselves out there, and supporting folks in a community.
