Ya gotta love how the Krank fans stand by their man. FWIW I've heard some real good tones from both the Rev and Chadwick.

The Rev+ gets an effects loop boost, and a boost switch on the Kleen channel. Both get the new freakin' huge transformers.
(I had the Kleen mod done last summer on my Revolution Series One.)
I got to beta one last summer. I love the new transformers.

P.S.: I asked Tony if he would make a Chadwick Plus @ 60 watts with one pair of KT88's. No word yet.

Krank usually gets a bad rap because of the underhanded business techniques they used in the beginning (employees posting tons of reviews at HC saying the amps were better than any other brand, blah blah blah).

ive heard a few good tones from them, and a lot of bad ones too. i still want to try them myself to see if are really that horrible, so i reserve judgement until i can try one out.

Yeah - They're out there. I was A/B-ing a Chadwick to my Rev in the demo room last week, and they had an SST in there as well but I wasn't curious enough to touch it. The market for that amp is entry level, 100 true watts + 4x12 for just under a grand is what I'm hearing, but I won't know for sure until they start appearing in the online stores.

I'm actually curious about the SS amp. I love my Randalls, and the Ampeg SS stuff, so I'm somewhat curious about these if they'll hold up next to an old RG.
