120Watts, personally I don't need that much head room, just puts more pressure on making a good master volume or having to use an attenuator.

Do these amps have a half power switch?

Also, what is the problem with not liking Krank or giving them a fair chance. I seem the same thing with Fender, mesa, marshall, peavey, etc. Sure its not as widespread, but there are plenty of people who won't give peavey, carvin, etc a chance. Its like some people think that you have to give every product/company a fair shake and that's not the case. We all have our preferences and reasons for liking this whether they are rational or emotional reasons....

I'm actually curious about the SS amp. I love my Randalls, and the Ampeg SS stuff, so I'm somewhat curious about these if they'll hold up next to an old RG.

I played the Krank SS amps at Summer NAMM and they were terrible. Nowhere near as good as an old RG by any stretch.

They also had the Jenna Jameson Rev in there. I got some pictures, but was very careful not to touch it with my bare hands, you just never know..........
you mean...you DIDN'T lick it?

:scared: Jenna Jameson is fucking nasty plain and simple

I kind of like the ones I have tried. They are a different voice than what I use.

The Revolution is a good metal amp, but it's way overpriced IMO. Only reason I bought one is because I got it for $900. That's how much they should be new, not $1600.

I would never buy a KRANK amplifier after their bogus
Harmony Central reviews... Plus I hate the tone of the
four Krank amps I've tried!!

KRANK is still a joke to me, although I have heard that
Tony's a great guy!

Krank isn't the only company writing their own reviews, they just got caught. Read some others, pay attention and realize the pattern and you'll find some others.

I like the Krank amps I've seen.

Krank is the new poser rig like the PRS + Recto once was. Not that your a poser if you use one... You know what I mean. :)

You fuckers can have 'em.

is there any "modability" with these?

The Krank guys are real good to work with getting what you want, just really busy so they aren't neccesarily extremely prompt with call backs and email.

My Rev has been modded with a 3 position toggle for the standard Kleen, the Krankenstein Clean, and "halfway" between the two. It's going in next for transformer transplant, I'm getting the new monster ones put in. the foot print is the same as the old ones by design, so it will be pretty simple. I will be able to bias for 6550's, but will not have the tube spacing for the KT88's.
