honestly think there are a ton of underappreciated guitarists compared to Lifeson. Rush was always known as the musician's musicians for a reason.

so not just hating on the thread, guys like Fripp I would consider more underappreciated.
 
After having this song kick my ass for a while I always thought Lindsey Buckingham was underrated as a guitar player. And he sings it at the same time…not easy.

 
I’m going to say Scotti Hill. Wrote two of the most iconic and recognizable solos of an era.
