Open to discussion with anyone but I know my "It's going off" Surfer and trust his ears.

So,
I need another 4x12 like another hole in my head . BUT.....

7 4x12's sitting here. All read loaded. 2 are older Diezel cabs with Scumbacks. Bogners /Fryette Deliverance./Marshall Handwired full stack.

What would I gain/loose by trying a read loaded 400 watt Diezel cab?
I think the one rear loaded Diezel came with the K100's Cant recall them having any markings on them though. The magnets are HUGE.
Maybe I should take a pic and post it.

Anyway. Once again. What do I gain with the front loaded Diezel

Always felt they were very beam focused.

Last front-loaded cab I had was a VHT Fatbottom.
Didnt feel one way or the the other about it.

I really love the extra high end crunch the front-loaded Diezel cabs bring to the table with the VH4 especially. Makes it more Marshally. Peter Diezel told me he voiced the modern VH4 around their 4x12 FL V30 cab. I think the VH4 can sometimes sound too dark or smooth with rear loaded cabs.

Not the K100 Loaded then?
$1600 new plus tax.
BETTER give me a reach around at that price.:jerkit:

Can't say I felt anything special with the FB412. I had one with F70Gs and it was good but nothing earthshattering.

My VH2 and Mesa 4x12 Traditional is very smooth unless I jack up the treble and presence. But then, I do like treble and presence…

Yup. I have a FL V30 4x12 right next to my Mesa Traditional 4x12 and the Diezel is a noticeably brighter cabinet than the Mesa.

Works great with huge, "Wall of sound" type amps like Ubers and Diezels, but I find it harsh/brittle with Marshalls and Wizards, which are quite bright amps.

Well,
I'd say yins are killing me, but I opened up this can of worms and only myself to blame.
Just making me nuts thinking of the price.

if anyone is able to find a Diezel FL cab with the G12K-100 you should seriously consider it as it kicks ass. I got one recently and I was surprised how good it sounded. Its a huge upgrade compared to my old 1960AV cab with "Marshall V30s".

Sorry for delay Holmes!! Yes, surfing was fkn LIT!!!!! 🤩

Hate to break it to you - but... G12K100 FL 412 is the money. That cab and/or the newer UberKab a la Bogner are insanely good cabs with heads that have the punishing output, lows and complexities like that of the Diezel lineup. The older OS Mesa's loaded with their own V30s were great for low-end, but I still prefer the definition of the UberKab, and the outright massiveness of the Diezel G12K100 412 as my two fave cabs with Diezel heads.

This news may cost you some money, but once you hear it, it's worth it :2thumbsup:

Peace n Powerchords :rawk:

Just an FYI….
I have been using two Friedman 4x12 cabs with my VH4 for nine years. The cabs are the two GB and two V30 cabs.
Try one…..you might like it!
