you guys never heard of Christmas? or think about how much more mail traffic there is this year? i sent ALL my presents by mail this year by ordering deliveries to peoples homes instead of going to a store and buying stuff to bring to all the nieces and nephews.

common sense says they are swamped and rightfully so

you guys sound like a bunch of whiners in this thread

Wow, I'm shocked. I can't believe the USPS isn't performing well after Trump put De Joy in charge of it specifically to knee-cap its ability to deliver mail-in ballots (along with the rest of our packages) this year.

BTW I don't even consider this a political post at this point, just "known, provable fact."

The USPS is "broke" because in an effort to have it privatized, Republicans forced a bill in 2006 making the USPS pay 75 years worth of employee benefits in advance over a 10 year time frame, a financial burden no other government service has had to come close to bearing before or since, to paint the picture that it was "losing money" and "needed" to be turned over to private entities. Before that, they were absolutely profitable. However, the goal was never for it to be profitable in the first place. It's a utility.

At any rate, I don't think it's fair to blame most carriers for late packages this year during a global pandemic, where there's been such an astronomical influx of product for them to handle.
it was passed by both parties. It was unanimous among Democrats in both the house and senate. There were 20 Republican Nays in the house 0 Nays from Democrats in the House and all Yays from both party’s in the Senate. So let’s just leave it as “the DC swamp” doing what they does best

I have some books coming, and Media Mail is pretty much the last thing they pull out of the corner to put on a truck if there's room. They shipped 12/7 from PA to MN - they still haven't gotten to MN. That said, I'm not losing my mind about it. They'll get here...maybe. The only thing that bugs me is the $53 I had to pay to get it sent. Feels like I should be paid for my patience at this point.

I have another set of books that were also sent Media Mail, and they have been sitting locally since 12/14. I'd like to say I'm all smiles about it, but...

They are horrible. I paid to have something arrive in 2 days. It took over 3 weeks!!

Ya there's absolutely nothing political about this post at all...?

I wonder what service they used after Election Day because all of a sudden they received millions of ballots for uncle Joe ?

If there was any truth to that whatsoever, literally any evidence at all, Trump's lawyers wouldn't have just been laughed out of court 50+ lawsuits in a row over the last few weeks. But they were. Know why? Because there is literally zero evidence of what you're talking about, or else one of those 280 Republican judges Trump appointed might have heard a case. But they didn't. Because there's no evidence of wide-spread fraud.

Also, gee it's so weird that Trump was ahead in the beginning of the count when (by law in most states) only in-person votes could be counted first, then Biden pulled ahead when the the mail-in votes were allowed to be counted.

It's almost like the Republican party loudly discouraged mail-in voting for months before the election and downplayed the seriousness of the virus, so (surprise surprise) most Republicans voted in-person while most Democrats voted by mail because they didn't want to stand around in huge lines for hours during a global pandemic.

Sorry man, Trump lost. Fair and square. More people voted for Biden than Trump. About 7 million actually.

Oh wait, actually voting this year wasn't entirely fair. There have been some instances of voter fraud caught by law enforcement. Every single one of them were Republicans casting illegal ballots for Trump though. Oof.

Take this to the OT

Local post office managed to straight up lose like 4 of my packages over the last 3 months. When I speak to them about it they take down my name and number and say they'll call me and then I just never hear back from them at all. Wankers

Shipping to the wrong address is another reason why you may experience USPS package delays. This happens when your customer provides you with the wrong address or a typo or error in the recipient's delivery address. Not necessarily. While it is required that packages with tracking numbers be scanned at every stop along the way from origin to destination, these scans are sometimes missed or skipped. It can be that the courier is using a malfunctioning scanner, that he forgot to scan the item or that the delivery has been interrupted for some reason. It can be that your shipment is “out for delivery” but hasn't been scanned in 14 hours or more, which causes the USPS to send an automated message at that point. click usps

It’s bullshit. I go to the post office a lot as I sell records. I expect it to take awhile shipping media mail. Cool with that. But if I send something priority it shouldn’t take a week. I’ve had this happen. It’s simply false advertising. I pay for a 2-3 business day transaction and they aren’t holding up to their pricing for it. I’m fine with it taking more time...just don’t lie to me and charge me for some unrealistic promise.

Any of you add 6 times the work your used to and tell me all your due dates would stay the same? I ordered guitar wood 11-23 got it 12-18. Late yup...but I got it.
Buddy...you're dealing with turds with MASTERS DEGREES from Harmony Central here.
The back rubbing corruptive sissy bullying is modeled after those crusty old timers in an AA meetings.
That should be the ULTRA setting on their modded Marshalls== GROBBLE.
You pukes bitch & moan about your boosts
& tubes in the mail..go down there and get it
AND while you're at it, give them a hand
and help your homies get their Cameron Lube.
How about this?
Go play your f'n instrument until your package(s) arrive.
Now who would have thought of that?
Fuck everyone of you.
