I think Mike catches a lot of crap for not being a great bass player. He is no bass virtuoso and if you rank him that way I’d direct you to listen to some Larry Graham, BUT, he is a solid rock bassist with great timing, great feel, groove and some very tasty licks. And VH would not be VH without those harmonies.
