Any of you Bogner fans know which version Uberschall was used by Steve Stevens on Billy Idol's DEVILS PLAYGROUND? The tones are sick. I know he used several amps but an Uber was one of them. FYI the CD was released in 2005 and recorded in 2004.

edited years....

2001 is the earliest Harmony-Central review for an Uberschall...I didn't think it was available in 94...IIRC, Reinhold created it after bands like Korn and Limp Bizkit came onto the scene with 7 string guitars...

thats what i thought.plus i could see him using a xtc but no way a uber

In an interview he said he used it on Rat Race and Scream. Could be a typo.

I am retarded. I meant 2004.

Maybe the Bogner guys know? It wouldn't hurt to call or e-mail 'em.

Could be any version (other than the TJ). The Rev Blue came out in 08/2004.

I always thought the majority of the tone on the CD was coming from an OD-100.
