LOL!!!! Steve's whipping out the dictionary on people today.

I'm waiting for the SigX to come out, I'm about to shit a brick waiting. Or a Deliverance. But it really doesn't matter, because I don't have the dough to blow on a new amp anyway.

But when I do, it's gonna be a VHT!

Pan, what boost are you using with the D60?

The good old Boss sd-1. But i would like to try BB Preamp or MI Audio stuff.

Hmmm, I have an old SD-1 but haven't really liked it with my D60. It seems to make it too crackly/crispy and if I roll back on the tone knob, it's blah.

I hope this studio im off to has one of these now. These look awesome!!! which one do you prefer thump?

I love VHT from the first second I fired up my 50 CL w/EQ+REV. So easy to get a sweet brown sound type of tone. Whenever I play through it with a guitar tuned to Eb my brain automatically starts playing early VH stuff

here's the head

I also have a VHT 4x12 slant with P50E's to match it

When will the Sig-X be ready? Thing looks killer and from what I hear its going to be another killer amp from VHT

Dude - that rules! I wish I could get my brain to play anything. I'm always forced to use my damn fingers and that fucks everything up.

I need to play a Deliverance. Ive had the chance a few times but I never have because I figured it wouldnt me for me. I played a UL, and while I thought it was cool, it felt too stiff for me. That was awhile ago though.

I need to give them another try.

My VHT 4x12 is my favorite out of the three that I have at the moment. I also tried out a Deliverance 120 and it was killer. Damn you GAS!!

I don't know this for sure, but I'm getting some KILLER dirty bluesy rock tones from the Deliverance. Check out those clips from Brian Kahanek (sp?) on the first page at http://www.vhtamp.com. Awesome.
Damn I forgot about those clips Brian did! He is a phenomenal player and those clips sound awesome! I think he originally from Austin too IIRC.

Damn it people, my gas is writng checks my bank account cant cash.

VHT amps are terrific! I loved and miss my CLX. I will have one again someday.

I would never describe VHT as a dry. I always felt it was less saturated and and very clear.

I can't believe MegaMark hasn't posted in this thread yet about his hatred for all things VHT.

Quite frankly, it's disappointing. I'll fill in for him:

I tried a VHT, it sucked. It's too dry and stuff, sounded sterile, was hard to play and it smelled funky. Plus, I hated the tolex and the name VHT, well, nobody even knows what it means. Stupid amp.

Well to some people less saturated = dry, so semantics are coming into play a little bit here IMO but I basically agree
