Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that there is any bad blood between Vinnie and EB...I really don't think so.

I can see why Vinnie would jump ship though. EB gave Benji Madden, of Good Charlotte, a sig guitar over Vinnie Moore. While Good Charlotte may or may not be a good band, I, for one, have never even heard of Benji Madden let alone consider him a stellar guitar player. Oh well, the powers that be make the decisions.

As you can imagine, the question about good charlotte guy comes up more than once every now and again...Sterling's participation is pretty good on the forum though; his take was that madden's appeal was a good chance to spread the EB name around, although I think I would have much rather seen a VM sig myself :D

Yeah, I would have rather seen a VM sig also...then again, Vinnie is a personal friend of mine so I guess I'm a bit biased. :D

looks a lot like those Vigiers..or however they are spelled..but ugly none the least

man, I just read thru the EB forum thread.....wow....talk about dudes latching on to Sterling's yambag. :bleh: Real shame....Vinnie Moore is one of the best shredders....can easily hold his own with Paul Gilbert. I don't see how a Steve Morse model could happen, but not a Vinnie Moore. Both of these guys are relatively obscure to non-musician types. What a joke.

I love both of those guys, so I'm not trashing anyone by any stretch of the imagination...the Steve Morse model came about while steve was still winning lots of guitarist polls, plus he had his gig with the dregs and solo. I'm not sure when vinnie joined up with EB, but I think it was around the tail end of shred/beginning of alternative, so maybe it wasn't a good time to break out a model with a floyd unless you're EVH? Steve really had the first sig model there as well. I dunno man. Like I said though, I like both of em.
