IDK if I'd even bother owning a Mark III if I didn't also own a Furman PQ3, that makes all the difference (to me). Noisy as shit but sounds killer for that Stryper thing.

I believe you, I’m sure I would dig it. I’ve heard too many guys who love Mark IV’s also rave about the III’s. Not many good high gain clips out there though. BTW, your above clip sounds great. This IV has made me very curious about the Mark III. I’ve heard many rave about them, and guys saying they dig them as much as the IV. Well, I listened to a ton of YT clips of the III and in my opinion 90% of them are shit. I understand clips are misleading , but I found many, many killer Mark IV clips in comparison. I’d have to hear one in person I guess.

With all of my Mark IV excitement, my buddy told me to find him one. 
He just scored a beautiful rack mount Mark IV on Reverb in what appears to be near mint condition. Not a speck of dust on it. Got it for $1250 shipped/tax. He hasn’t actually heard mine, he’s going by my word. He’s gonna shit himself. He’s an old thrasher/death metal scumbag like myself. He doesn’t have PayPal, so I bought it and he’s paying me. Therefore it’s being shipped to my house, so I’ll check it out and make sure everything is cool. I’m gonna set all the knobs and EQ up for the broots, so all he has to do is plug in and buckle up. This thing is gonna immediately take his head off!

Nice one! That's exactly what when I found mine! My buddy used his paypal and I gave him cash lol 1100 euros for a 2005 combo - mint condition - including shipping from the UK to Greece! Gotta admit I am not really looking forward to servicing it, but yes it is number 2 on the list of my amps that should get some attention. Its always hard to slip in my amps to get them going, always seem to be busy getting other people's amps going.
Will check out the clip when I have time.
