I'm sure that they are just normal 59s.... but then MJ always seems to throw in some extra magic. From seeing him live, I can tell you that some of his tonal goodness is from cranking the shit out of those amps. I have played that venue, and I can tell you that he was much louder than I have ever been allowed to run there. lol!
