To add… you can use any amp you love as your dry sound then use W/D/W and make it sound killer.

This was a huge factor for me as well, the core gain tones between the Friedmans, Fortins and the Langners, especially the Langners are night and day different, so in any given song we are working on I can choose any of them and tap right in.
