How do you control the line out volume? I am running my line out into a TC2290/TC1210 and into a RT2/50 or Mesa MK III return jack on the loop. My TC 2290 will clip if I turn it up to jamming volume. Seems I have no control of the line out and the louder the amp the louder the Line out.

My Mesa Mk III and the Bogner 20th ann Ecstasy seem to have a direct out volume control. Why doesnt the RMod100.

i have that problem as well.

if you have an input pad on the tc you can switch it in. otherwise you have to use something like an external mixer to decrease the levels to play nice with your effects.

The line out is simply an attenuated tap (~20dB) off the speaker output. This should be compatable with aline level device. Are you using the 2290 in the line level mode? If you do need to cut the send more, I can show you how (or make it for you) to make an attenuator cable. That wasy you won't need any external gear for this.
alternately, I can tell you which resistors in the MOD100 change the line out level.

I just have 1/4 jack input or XLR input on the TC2290. I dont see anyway of changing the level of the TC except the level control on the front which I have all the way down.

Is it just adding a resistor to the Cable going to the TC? I dont want to do anything to cause damage to the RMod100.

Is it possible to put a volume control on it like on the Mesa MkIII or Bogner 20th xtc?

i would love it to have a volume control as well!

is this by making a cable for a 6db signal drop by going from trs to standard?
