I have been a Pens fan since they wore blue and white uniforms and am absolutely loving the resurgence (sp) of enthusiasm for the team with all the new young guns!

Best aquisition this year IMO Dupee. I also think Letang has been VERY impressive, especially considering how young he is.

I had to ask Mega-Mark what Pennsylvanians think about Ruutu because quite a many people hate him, especially opponents. Mega-Mark said that he's a fan favorite there!

Best thing about this team that I don't see in any other team right now is that they don't stop...60 minutes and their legs are always moving. Other teams start to look tired late in the game, or don't put in the effort.

Malkin is a perfect example of this. He's huge and yet at the end of the game he skates like he just hit the ice.

Marc Andre has been unbelievable in goal since he came back. I think he only has 1 or 2 losses since then. Ever since we added Hossa, Dupuis, and Gill we've improved our defense and penalty killing a TON. I can't believe some people said that Hossa trade was bad. Suckers.

I'm calling it now... in the off season they'll offload Hossa and maybe Malone and sign Jagr.

I have said all year that as long as the pens are within 2 goals in the third period, they have a strong chance to win.

I agree...they never give up.

No chance in hell of that. Why would they even want him? He isn't worth big money anymore. I think they'll find a way to keep Hossa along with Malkin, Malone, and Fluery. Ray Shero didn't trade for Hossa just to keep him as a rental.

I would love to see that, but keep in mind, the Pens finances still aren't great. I do believe they will sign Malkin...after that, I have no guesses who gets signed. There are something like 17 free agents (I seem to remember reading that number) at the end of the year.

Nah, would never happen. The biggest reason is that Crosby probably now hates him...and Mario, Crosby, and Shero are the guys pulling the strings. Probably in that order. The second biggest reason is that Jagr is a guaranteed chemisty killer and the team has great chemistry right now. Lots of people were worried about the Hossa-Armstrong trade possibly screwing up the team chemistry, and Hossa isn't even a pouty bitch like Jagr.

Speaking of Jagr - what's with the little Hitler mustache? Who told him that was a good idea???

Jagr is not a great player anymore. He's still good, but he's nowhere near as good as he was before. And as ratter said, everyone on the Pens hates him now. He's been making a bunch of asshole comments about how Crosby and Malkin aren't even that good.
