The Rangers won't resign Jags after this season. Mario could get Jags cheap. Jags with Crosby and Malkin would be unbelieveable!

Nah, would never happen. The biggest reason is that Crosby probably now hates him...and Mario, Crosby, and Shero are the guys pulling the strings. Probably in that order. The second biggest reason is that Jagr is a guaranteed chemisty killer and the team has great chemistry right now. Lots of people were worried about the Hossa-Armstrong trade possibly screwing up the team chemistry, and Hossa isn't even a pouty bitch like Jagr.

Speaking of Jagr - what's with the little Hitler mustache? Who told him that was a good idea???

Yeah I saw that. Lol. Must be a hip thing somewhere. I still think that Jagr could be had really cheap. If I'm wrong oh well, but if Mario wants Jags he'll be back.

Do you want me to say they're a bad team? They obviously aren't, they had the most points in the NHL. I do think the Pens are a better team and are playing much better hockey right now though. Hasek almost put you guys right out of the playoffs.

If that does happen, I certainly won't be heartbroken.

The Pens made the playoffs last year (a year ahead of when they should have IMHO) and learned some valuable lessons from the drubbing the Sens put on them.

This year, making it to the second or third round is still ahead of schedule (though the fans of course expect a championship).

If they do make it to the finals, it would be a great thing for Hockey in general and in Pittsburgh specifically. And the offense the Pens have make them a threat to anyone in the league.

The Pens have a number of good years in front of them, barring injury, and that is a great thing for the entire underappreciated NHL. Sid is marketable accross sports. Not many folks in Hockey are.

Yeah if they get past the Rangers it's been a great season no matter what happens next. Although because of how dirty they played I would love to see the Rangers and Flyers get spanked by the Pens in the playoff. After that it's all gravy.

It really is terrible that ESPN doesn't televise NHL games anymore. There's not many things in the sporting world better than playoff hockey IMO.

Word. I just wish NBC and VS weren't allowed to broadcast the games either. Just leave it to FSN. I can't stand NBC's coverage. Simply awful. CBC obviously does a great job but they're still using the cameras you have to crank. Horrible picture.

I don't really mind NBC's coverage, but Versus is terrible. Plus I don't even get that stupid channel down here at school. I had to listen to game 1 on the radio.

Blackout rules prevented me from watching when the Pens were in Philly...this made me mad but I can sort of understand it (I don't think the Fliers had many sellouts)

But they also blacked out the games when played in Pittsburgh! I made quite a few calls about this and was told over and over there was a 500 mile rule for blackouts (Pittsburgh is about 350 from Philly).

Seems pretty ridiculous (sp) to me...Heck,that puts major issues on all the northeast teams.

I wish there was some kind of service where you could just subscribe to all of one teams games for an entire season, in all sports. It could be cheaper than buying every single game and I think a lot of people would go for that. I'd pay good money to be able to watch all of the St. Louis Rams games in football and all the Oakland A's games in baseball. I don't really care about any other games though and the prices of those other services are so high.
