Welcome to the family.Waiting sucks ,but it will be worth it.I bought my first boogie when randall was still making them in his back yard shop. The support and more important the product changed my world. My woman hates me more...L.o.L.,my dog whines for his walk and 6 months after getting my Einy I'm still in awe. Some old guys buy fast cars and chase young chicks..I buy fast guitars and chase tone.

I'm afraid you'll need to get a good supply of Valium to weather the long ride. They always have some lame excuse; you wonder why they are even in the amp business at all exhibiting lousy support and lousy delivery. I waited 4 months for 3 $2 dollar fuse holders for my Herbert to no avail. I said F’ it I’ll do it my self and tracked down the vendor in Europe and got the fuse holders for FREE!

To bad, Cortez that you have no dealer in your neck of the woods with what you desire so you don't have to put up with bull rhetoric.

That's one reason why I became an accomplished auto mechanic because I was tired of being lied to, ripped off and more.

I'm my own man now on both accounts, Diezel and lying auto mechanics that just rip you off.

Good luck Cortez and welcome to the board.

IDK...i have never had any issues in over 6+ years of owning Diezels. Peter & Co have always been overly helpful. Why do you come to the forum to just bash the company?? If you had an issue...take it up with Peter in private. Like real businessmen do!! Not in the forum of public opinion. Its like being a pro football player & pissing & moaning everytime you get a stubbed toe. Things do happen.. and things do take time. Not saying that it sucked it took you 4 months to get fuse holders.... but waiting on an amp being built is a whole different animal.

I too waited some time for my cabinets. But its all part of the game. If the world was going to end b/c you didnt have something & you talked to Peter i could almost guarantee he would do whatever to make things right for you in a timely manner...even if it meant shipping you a new amp (which i have heard & seen done here)

Its the holidays...be a little positive. \:D/

Dave needs that from time to time.

Happy Holidays dudes !!!!
Just tomorrow to work and then . . . :D

Did You say we have a bad support here in Germany ?
No. Here in the USA. I'm not disrespecting you Peter because you know me and you know how much I have a high regard for you and I literally have a pure adulation for Diezel amplification. However, after waiting 4+ months for an ounce sized shipment to me here in San Diego, CA is unacceptable.

I will always recommend and hold in the highest regard your products.

I hope that I haven't offended you in any way; I was just speaking the truth about my hopefully isolated support incident.

We take care of You

Will do, Mr. Peter. I hope all is well and your business is thriving as it should. IMO - you design, engineer and produce and manufacture the finest high gain amp (Herbert) out of the box with nothing necessary but a few cables, a guitar and proceed to enjoy this true masterpiece!!!

There are not many engineers like you that are willing to put the schematics down to assist and provide feedback to your customers.

Hey Cortez, have you got it yet? If not, come over and play my used Einie, got it yesterday. I live on Lidingö.

Thanks for the offer Batman but I finally got my Einy on Saturday! I haven't had time to try it out with decent volume yet (it's LOUD!) but it sounds wonderful even with master at 7 o'clock. I especially like ch 1 mode 3 so far.

Great Cortez. I'm having a full gas test tonight for the first time. Rehearsal at Musikhuset in Kärrsby.

Batman, if you're going 'full gas' tonight I think I'm going to hear you, i live only some 30km away.

I will open the window facing Huddinge at 21:00 hours.

F**ckin hell!!!      This thing leaps off the floor!! My bass player came by, after listening for five minutes he said "Easily the best sound you ever had". And this with a shitty used 20year old 12ax7 in V1. With the proper higain tube it will be even crazier.

Did you hear me Cortez? i didn't have to open the window actually. The glass broke when the master hit 3 o'clock.

Now to the serious analysis:
As I play gain all the time, I love the ch1 pos3. No need for the modded foot switch for me. In this position with gain pretty much all the way up (bear in mind my worn out tube in V1) playing a single coil strat, I was amazed at the dynamics. Playing hard, it really grinds - slightly softer and it actually plays pretty crunchy, veeeery nice.

Playing the Steinberger with EMG81/85, what a blast! THe tone is sooo defined, cuts like a knife. Best I've played. And it's mine.

The slide strat in middle brigde position with ch2 and a JAM compressor - best slide sound ever!

The combination with ch1 pos 3 cranked up with less mid for power chords and ch2 with a good lead sound, then the switchable two masters makes it a top gigging amp. Can't wait.

Only down side sofar, I really did notice the different voicings of the two masters, particularly in ch2. I got better treble bite on master1, so that one will have to be the lead volume.

All in all: Beauuuutiful amp!!!!

Also very impressed by the immediate support response from Peter! Thanks, super!
