I have one and I like it a hell of a lot more than the TC Gmajor. Tone stays pretty true. plus it is easy to use. Can't beat it for the price.

The best:

The high-end budget:

Poor Man's Eventide:

Under $500 and better than the G-Major:

Rocktron MultiValve/Replifex/Xpression +
Rocktron Intellifex/Intelliverb/Intellipitch

You can get all these on Ebay cheaper, too. The G-Major and G-Force BOTH suck tone. The G-Major more-so. The Rocktron stuff has a hard bypass so there's basically no tone-suckage. The Eventide stuff uses top-of-the-line AD/DA converters so their stuff sounds great. However, Eventides are known to have some slight lag that you might have to battle with. Depends on your setup.

Xpression is more of a "do all" processor, where as the Intellifex specializes in just Reverbs, Delays, Choruses and some unintelligent pitch shifting. Their 8-voice chorus sound will just destroy anything else near its price range. The Xpression is nice, but I tend to recommend people look for the Replifex or MultiValve as they have channel switching functions so you can channel switch your amp(s) w/ MIDI.
