I have a few and Warmoth stuff is really good. People mention necks needing fret work and Warmoth even state on their site that they probably will need fret work because they can't take into account the final guitar when they are just building the neck and it needs to be done at final setup. It is true. Tom Anderson doesn't build separate necks anymore for this reason. Well he doesn't usually build them for this reason.
He will on occasion if he knows the guitar he is building for and you send him all of the parts back so that he can fit the neck to the body and do all of the work on the final guitar together. He did this for me and did tremendous work and it cost quite a bit more. If you are buying a neck from Warmoth, you will get a super quality neck, which may or may not need some additional fret work. I have never had any additional work done on mine, but would understand if they needed it since it states it right on their website ...and it makes sense.
