Don't think it's ever going to happen in my state till it's cleared federally

It’s been legal but taking them forever to get it together and allow open sales. NJ, doing what it do, making a shitshow of everything.

Let’s hope the vehicular accidents and deaths don’t go up.
True, it’s the cannabis “edibles” that are concerning when driving.
But there’s loads of legal junk that individuals are toasted on from these sketchy gas station smoke shops.
They’re legal drug dealers, those f’n pukes.
The stuff they have “behind the counter” is more
powerful then any street drugs you can get a hold of., in a very sophisticated way.
GABA drugs mixed with psychotropic lifters
& potentiators and too many opioids mixed in there to tell what’s what.
Oh the rehab industry is stoked!!
Pumping out that Suboxone like never before.
Big Pharma be drooling & licking their chops..hmmm.

is this what caused controlled voltage to go off the deep end? :loco:

I read it in a book called I think called Black Market. It's about how porn got started and the Comstock laws and how the industry fought back to become legal. Weed and how it became illegal, and how its market while illegal is widely ignored and eventually will be accepted, book was written 20 years ago. Finely it covered migrant farm workers, most of whom are illegals, and how the american agriculture industry for the most part could not exist with out them
If I’m not mistaken, Dupont was a major player in the criminalization of weed. The hemp plant has many, many uses. I believe that when Dupont started manufacturing synthetic material, the hemp plant was competition, hence part of the “war” to demonize marijuana. It’s been a long time, but I believe the book I read about this subject was “The Emperor Wears No Clothes.”
As someone else mentioned earlier, the criminalization of weed was also to “get rid” of transitory Mexican workers (they were the ones primarily smoking it at the time) who were hanging around after the job was done, and their services were no longer needed.

Good for NJ. I love living here in Mi. I can legally have a perpetual grow room in my basement (clone rig, veg tent, flower tent, drying space), all LED powered, so it doesn't get hot, or send my bills too high. its a fun hobby, and its nice to be under the lights and taking care of plants in the 6 months of winter we have here. Whatever money i spend doing it, i make up by having my buddies "donate" money for "overages", which they're more than happy to do, since our dispensaries are kind of a rip off. We've been legal since 2008. weed related accidents aren't shit compared to drunks, violent people with guns, road rage, "Detroit" style driving (very aggressive, and fast), etc. Its harmless. Go after the human and opiate sellers now.
More than happy to contribute 😁🤘

As I write this post, I am sitting in the drive through lane of a legal weed dispensary in Florida. It is about 60 degrees outside, the car windows are down, I am listening to Rhoads, and will be driving away within 5 minutes with a half ounce of Strawberry Haze, a quarter ounce of Bubba Kush, and some THC pain patches (which do wonders for golfers elbow).

Life is good and legal weed is grand!
Won't give up my CCL to get a weed card. 😢

I got my CCW before my MM card. By the time I am up for renewal, I will be a full time Maine citizen and they are Constitutional carry and legal weed (recreational and medical).

Think it ridiculous that the US govt has not let the weed thing go. The alcohol lobby is strong!

Sucks that you are being forced to choose your freedom that you can exercise. If the state you live in says it is legal, the feds should back off imo.
