THE FIRST 3000 HAVE SOLD OUT!

We have switched the NOTAKLÖN to PREORDER Status! We anticipate the second, third, and fourth batches to ship approximately January and through February, 2024.

The received orders for 20K of these, and plan on fulfilling every order. So, if a person is dumb enough to buy one right now for $200-$300 bucks then they deserve to sit there wondering "why the hell did I do that" about the middle of next year when these selling for $69 used.

I can see it already... "From the first run!!!" will be all over Reverb here at the beginning of next year when the market floods with these things trying to justify that $200-$300 outlay. Granted, it seems like a decent pedal but JHS is laughing all the way to bank on these. Sold 20K of them on the initial offering, and no labor to build them... Genius!

NOTAKLON?

It's nice to see. I cant name any popular pedal builders selling 20k units in the first two weeks.

that JHS dude really has a lot of power in his words. its great to see someone so successful who is just following their obsession/passion.

on the flip side, it sucks what consumerism and hype does to a companies image. it does create a bit of a backlash with some. everytime i see one used at GC, i usually can't help but think "meh, hype pedals that don't stand the test of time", even thought that is probably not really the case.

This is why I have no problem holding off another year or so for an Adam Jones Silverburst Epi when I can probably snag one for $500.

It’s like anything else. You want it today you pay today’s price and get the t before anyone else. You see it all the time . I’m in the car business— I know!

I'm kinda surprised that I haven't heard anyone talking about the Boss 50th anniversary editions of the SD-1, DS-1 and BD-2. They are issued in far more limited number than the Notaklon. If I remember correctly, they are making 6000 of each. I suppose they aren't that interesting because the regular ones are everywhere. I ordered one of the SD-1s and should receive it in a day or two. I'll probably just put it on my pedal shelf on display since I already have a Japanese and a Taiwanese version.

It’s inevitable, if something isn’t in stock for immediate shipment people will flip haha. But I totally agree with posts above, just wait a month or two!

Called it!! Albeit, a little earlier than I had expected. Folks on Reverb already using the "from the first batch" to try to sell their "Notaklon" at inflated prices.
