I was close a few weeks ago, but I just tested this setup and it sounds huge.
The big change was the Fryette Power Staion was not doing a good job of attenuating the Suhr SL67.
I own both the 50 and 100 watt Power Stations, and they change the sound and feel of the amp.
I got the Tone King Iron Man II, and what a huge difference. It retains all the harmonic content of the amp.
Now I can crank the shit out of the amp, hit it with an SD-1, and just play.
I take a Line Out of the Iron Man and go into the Line In of the Fryette, Delay in Fryette’s effects Loop, to the Friedman 1x12’s. Humongous

Nice!

Once you have this setup, it's hard to go back. Such a wide, awesome sound. I've gone a step further and added a mixer to mine; that allows for more of the dry tone to be dialed in to the wet cabs for an even better tone.

welcome to the fold!

imo w/d was the best compromise live for less footprint/hassle than wdw, better listening sweet spot and FOH mix ability than stereo, while still experiencing the benefit of pure dry rig clarity and separate wet fx cab imaging.

but like you discovered, every link in the chain matters—particularly the dry cab and wet power/speaker.

Which mixer do you use?

Cool!

The mini mix was a good product too, but I don't think it's made anymore.

My 6ch mixer was like 70 bucks off Amazon, works a treat. But, it has built in effects so I had to make sure to turn them all the way down, and each ch wet mix knob down as well. First time I fired it up, holy shit it was a WET tone haha...thought my SDE 3000s were going crazy...then I realized what it was. Lol
