^ Sure man. But put it in the "Car forum" as to not spam @TheBiggestJerk 's thread

No it’s not, and although accepted as mainstream fact it’s misinformation. It spikes blood sugar, and that’s a lit fuse even if you're not DM for stroke especially older people with high BP or other co-morbidity. As a former cardiac surgical nurse, many hospitals don’t serve it anymore for the aforementioned reasons. I have personally surveyed many doctors as to what they eat for breakfast and very few if any intentionally choose oatmeal. It’s livestock feed, that’s not suitable for human consumption. There was a time that cigarettes too were promoted for health benefits.

My wife is a cardiac nurse as well. She doesn't have diabetes or high blood pressure. She might have a bowl once a week or so with some honey. I have Celiac so it is one of the only grains I can eat. I'm not a big oatmeal fan myself TBH. That's why I use words like 'different people in different ways' and 'some people' etc.

With that - I'm not going to get into this anymore so please ...carry on with your thread. It seems to me there are far worse things we put in our bodies to be worried about a bowl of oatmeal. :dunno:
