How about riffs that both sound killer and are fun to play? A lot of Sykes riffs in that category for me, obviously from Whitesnake, especially “the” riff from Still of the Night and the intro riff to Bad Boys.

One Sykes riff that is simple but I have always loved and always played is Cold Sweat by Thin Lizzy.

Rock Bottom - UFO is the first riff that comes to mind for me whenever I see this question.

Hold Back the Day was my cherry popping introduction to metal from classic rock. I heard it on headbangers ball late one night studying and ever since then I was hooked.
