I'm the second owner....no clips....technophobe here...Hell....I still use cassette tapes.....!! lol! I paid dearly for this amp because I have zero patience and when I want something.....I want it and damn the cost! But so far it was money well spent!...Still sussing it out and will know what the amp is really capable of by the end of the day but so far I'm diggin it plenty!!

hehe nice dude! the cabs are part of the sound in my opinion... I picked one up and i absolutly love it... I want to try it with a mixture of CL80's ... i bet that would sound nice to! heres a pic of mine....

I took out the H30's in my Cameron cab and put in 4 Celestions golds. The cabinet sounds unreal! Soooo warm, sweet and in your face sounding.

the H30's did sound really good, but I have always wanted to try the golds with a 412. plus I took out 2 of the v30's in my bogner cab and replaced them with 2 of the h30's. that cab sounds amazing, but way different. I am just way into the smoothness and the warmth of the cameron... plus that cab can get very mean sounding.

I guess Kurts Cornford was a lemon to huh? The reality of the situation is that Kurt buys and sells stuff all the time and it doesn't mean that the amps he sells are Lemons. Not sure if you mean my Cameron, but that wasnt Kurts, but atbear on HCAF. After I got it, I sent it to mark for some reworking, and I will say that the amp sounds amazing. I wish I could do it justice, but I really am not worthy The one I got from Kurt is similar to that, so I have Mark tweeking that one as well Hoping to have it back soon That way I can either bring it or send it with someone to the ampfest in Edison in a few weeks.

I do agree that Kurt does buy and sell off some amazing pieces practically on a daily basis. Knucklehead

I have a amp modder& builder over here who is awesome, but have run into time issues with him also. He does fantastic work, and when he was just doing mods, he was able to pretty much stay close to times promised. When he started building his own amps, everything changed. His amps got rave reviews from the Dumble crowd, they are VERY expensive { six grand } and have at least a two year wait. He also hand builds the most touch-responsive killer overdrive pedals ever, and between all of these things, and the fact that he has a clientel in japan that will pay MORE than top dollar for anything he builds, has led up to a situation where if you want him to mod an amp, you pretty much know it will be a ridicoulous amount of time before you will get it back. He has one now, a JCM800 he is doing for me that he told me probably 2 mo's , its been 8. Havent said anything to him, becuse I know it will be well worth the wait, But I understand the frustration of some out there. I think that within the guitar world, We are lucky to have a few mad-scientist amp builders who are even willing to talk to us, becuse we are not known guitar gods, so I think we have to take it for what it is. Not making excuses for anyone, but someone who starts out doing mods, are very well recieved, and then tries to start up a amp-building buisness, has a lot on his plate. I hope we always have them around!! Just my 2-cents Jim
