Once I decide to sell an amp I usually don't regret it, but there was this Rev E Recto I had that one of my buddies convinced me to sell to him...

I did manage to get another but man. I'd played so many Rectos before it and that specific amp just blew my mind

What about you guys? Any that stand out?

96 Marshall Slash 2555. I know just a 90’s Silver Jubilee reissue but that amp was all kinds of fun just sat right with any guitar I had. Once I learned to crank the lead master and use the output that was it. Thought I could do better “face palm”. Happy with my gear now but still wish I had it.

Rhodes Colossus. It was one of the first ever made. Sold it because of vet bills. Don't regret paying for the dog, but I should have just done a quick loan instead of selling off gear.

My Mark IV short head. I've replaced the Mark IV, but it cost me more and it was beat up. The one I sold was pristine and had SED Winged C 6L6s.

Herbert Mk. 1. I picked up a Mk. 2 a couple years ago and it just wasn't the same as the Mk. 1 I had.

Only one I regret is MKIII loaded Red stripe combo.

It was an awesome amp, and since I already had my 2 MKIIC+ combos, and needed cash for a guitar I HAD to have, I sold it.

One trick pony - but it was a great trick. I added the SAT switch with Dave's help.

Wish I'd had this and the Suhr RL at the same time.

The dog is always a good reason. It does suck when its something really hard to replace though

Tremoverb I bought brand new in 1995. Bought another about 10 years ago and it was not even close to being as good. Retubed and all. Something was just off with the second one.
