What Are Some Noob or Bad Habits Y'all Have with Playing/Gear?

I've done a lot of what's already been mentioned here... hooking up the fx loop backwards, plugging into the footswitch jack on some amps, rolling my chair over cables. So often I forget to turn the fx loop off when I'm not running any pedals, then sit there wondering why I have such low/no volume. I could just about be the fourth stooge.
