I've been trying to expand my music away from the otaku-ness and into the more "mainstream" hence the second link. Daita is just amazing, anyway (except for his vibrato).

I thought the same thing. The first OP was better than the second. I actually have her entire album "SEED" and it's pretty damn good. I can also name what series that Siam Shade song appears in.
P.S. KOTOKO's newer stuff (not her first album, but basically the rest) is pretty damn good.
Edit: Hell, just check out all the I've Girls compilation albums. I got them all in case you can't find them so feel free to hit me up if you need 'em.

I still get frustrated with my lack of language skills though.
Your japanese is good!

Thanks! I've been studying for awhile. I actually stopped studying for about a month right now to focus on college, but I plan on getting back into it. Working on learning the basic 1,945 kanji currently. I got about 250 to 300 down so far, but they all start to look the same after awhile! I have a bunch of books on it, lots of internet resources, and I hear it everyday so that helps. I always try to ask that question I asked you in case anyone can understand me. I plan on going to Tokyo soon so I'm working on getting my Japanese to a level where I can speak it comfortably. I can do conversations now and understand what people are saying, but I have some issues responding in the depth that I'd like to sometimes.

You are doing very well it takes time.
If you are going to Japan and want to try your Japanese, go outside of Tokyo.
Then try real Nihongo.
You will find if you speak even a little Japanese, Nihonjin will show you a lot of respect.
I am forgetting more and more Japanese as I am back in the UK, but I am also studying in my spare time, I do not have the time I would like.
My wife just does'nt have the patients to teach me new words lol.
