I just got the carvin a few days ago and its got some killer tone, but im playing it thru a Marshall MG4x12 slant cab. Any suggestions on what I should get to accompany my new/old head? Also if you have any suggestions on where I can find a footswitch for this that'd be awesome, nothin on ebay...

What speakers are in your cab? The best tones I got with an X100b with with a mix of V30 and greenbacks. Stock Carvin cabs are almost all V30.

Check the Carvin website for a footswitch.

Matching vintage Carvin cabinet to go along with the vintage head. Get the one with the Carvin EV knockoffs. Okay, I am biased because that's what I had. Still have the cab, not the head and I was disapointed when I drove a screwdriver through one of the speakers, that Carvin no longer made the EV knockoffs. At the time, '87/'88 ish... they offered those speakers in a 4x12 for bass and guitar. Pretty sure they were 150 watt speakers.

Buy a Peavey 5150 Cab for ~$100 or a Marshall for ..whatevr they cost in the US, and change the speakers if you're not happy with it, the Peavey is a well built, solid, good sounding cab.. with shit speakers, in alot of people's opinions. Ideally, find a used Marshall cab loaded with V30s, especially if Carvin cabs come from the factory with V30s as stock.

Check out WGS speakers, they clone the Vintage 30, you'll get a better deal from them than Celestion.

Get an older Carvin cab loaded with 100-watt speakers (400 watts total).
IMO, they're the best cabs of the money anywhere.

Avoid the new 280-watt and 200-watt cabs, though. The speakers are junk.
