Divorce laws are really whacked out. Or maybe, any rich celebrity who doesn't get their other half to sign a prenub is flat out stupid. McCartney married Mills in 2002 and they have 1 kid. What exactly did she do to deserve 48 million? As if she needs that to survive.

Think about it this way. McCartney is worth ~ $800M. She got ~ 6% of his net worth. If you got divorced, you'd have to give up half... This is a drop in the bucket to him...

What she did to "deserve" $48M was marry someone worth ~ $800M and have a kid with him... its like hitting the lottery man...

It is the magnitude of the amount that you're getting hung up on, however, consider that if most of us here got divorced, we'd be living in a shitty apartment eating top ramen noodles for dinner, barely getting by paying alimony and child support after having to split 50/50 whatever assets we'd put together during the marriage.

Paul will have a nice toast at his mansion to the fact that he got rid of this bitch and still has 94% of his vast fortune to enjoy...

Wow, i didn't know he had $800. But, looks like she will be branded with the Gold Digger tag wherever she goes. Look at Michael Strahan of the Giants, his ex took 15 million from him.
