The only one I don't like that much is wine red. When I think of a LP custom, I do think of one in black. I do really like my '73 LP custom in heritage cherry sunburst though, so I voted for that :)

Out of that selection I like white. Goldtop is another fav though

Sunburst or Black...preferably with some mileage & wear on them

Nothing looks more classy than a black Custom with gold hardware.

Out of the bunch shown, black. After black, white.

But... There are some other color combos out there that are pretty stellar - like the 5A Quilt "Firesmist" custom. THAT guitar is a knockout for looks, AND playability.

I've also got a Gold Top, with Dark Back - BEAUTIFUL ax...seriously beautiful player, but less a Custom and more a true re-issue '57...

Peace,
V.

I have a 1979 Silverburst and a 2003 black custom. Both are nice. The old white/creme LPC's are sexy as hell. These give me GAS also...

I think customs look best in solid colors, they dont look right to me in sunburst although standards look nice with the burst. I have a cream white custom but love the look of a black beauty almost as much. Steve jones was a favorite of mine and Looked so cool with the white as did randy.

i think the wine red ones look cool in person. the pic doesn't do them justice.

I like Silverburst the best. I really think the stock photos suck though because they always photograph it in B/W. Look at it. You can tell. Here's a better photo:

if the Black had chrome hardware i'd say black, since it doesn't i went for the Silver.
