What is everyone using for their switching systems?

I use this too, but it´s the G-Lab version. It switches the pedals in and out, handles the MIDI and does the channel and mode switching of my amp. It does everything I need, but I might migrate to something bigger to get more patches available without scrolling banks... and in that case it´ll probably be the larger G-Lab board.

This thing looks like exactly what I've been looking for!

Check out MarkL: http://www.marklcustom.com

Their stuff is great, high quality and moderately priced compared to competitors.

Ive never heard of them before and their stuff looks great but IMHO, theres nothing moderate about their prices, its all top dollar stuff..

Wow looks like I may be the only one around using the behringer FCB1010. I use it to switch between effects on my g force and the channels on my amp. Have been for about 4 or 5 years now. Really easy. Hasn't failed me yet.

Yeah, It's high end stuff indeed, and it's probably similar products you should compare it to. I've got the fully buffered B-16 switcher, and the closest you will get is the Skrydstrup RM-10 and it's €1496 excluding VAT. The B-16 is €999 Without VAT. You have the cheaper LS-16 that is more like the RJM Effect Gizmo. Depends what features your after etc...

Bradshaw should be paying you to use his stuff, you promote it more than anyone else on the planet.

THAT would be most welcomed, BUT is sadly not the case.

Bob's stuff is Top Shelf, and contrary to popular belief-- isn't CRAZY expensive compared to comparable makes/models. My switching system was Less than the Sound Sculpture Switchblade (The Big one), and has more loops, with buffers where I need them (REALLY good ones), not on every loop like some designs.

Anyway...

I have been using it for a few years now, and still love it, and attest to the quality and reliability I've had with it. (MOSTLY in threads like this, or the "Post pics of your rig" threads.)

I haven't seen too many guys on the forums quite nuts enough to go this route-- but I am glad I finally did. I'm happy that I have been able to support others' search for information, resources, opinions and experiences-- to aid them in the building of their own rigs, because some really great people did the same for me-- when I was coming up, and it's my way of continuing the kindness.

Got a couple schools of thought going on here...

Putting the finishing touches on my pedalboard, I'll be using the Voodoo Labs Pedal Changer with its 4 loops to control about 12 pedals; with the addition of an end-of-the-line PitchFactor (controlled by foot) stereo out to a Lehle SGS (controlled by foot). The amp and the loop will be controlled by a MIDI GCP, the loop contains Eventide Factors.

Outside of this, ya ya, the Axe-II, probably controlled by my GCP as well, or the MFC-101. Or it'll just sit on my desk with my Mac ontop of it, used solely for pumping out quietly recorded insanity. I used my Ultra as a pretty killer FX unit, and the II might end up being the same. But for jammin' and giggin', I'll be using my own voice of amps rather than the Axe. The Axe will be used for recording DI more than anything else.

That's it for me.
