Prolly a good thing given the level of online fraud nowadays.. The need to have your phone in your hand to login is a good thing although a PITA...

As mentioned before, you don't need your phone for it. Can do it from your computer as well, or even get one of those fancy hardware tokens you keep on your keyring, plugging it into your computer when it asks for 2FA.

There probably is, but off the top of my head I'm not aware of one. I know some password managers have support for 2FA codes.

Edit: Not sure what platform you're on (iphone?) but it looks like there might be built-in support for the 2FA codes now: https://support.apple.com/guide/iphone/automatically-fill-in-verification-codes-ipha6173c19f/ios
