Just for kicks.

Of the amps you currently own or have owned and through utter stupidity sold off, what would you consider your "to die for" amp? No wish list please, only amps you own or have owned.

I have only ever sold 2 amps (other than a power amp) which was a Marshall Silver Jubilee head which had a horrible gain channel and an early Trem-o-verb combo, that bitch was just sooooo damn heavy.

Of my current list:

My "I'll never sell it" amp
Mesa Dual Recto #654 :gethim:

Close runner up:
Bogner Uberschall Rev2

If I told you I'm fairly certain I'd sell it/them, so none of your bee's wax. Don't be jinxin' my stuff!

  Ok then, what amp do you wish you had never sold?

Marshall JCM800 2204, only because it's modded and pretty hacked up. I couldn't really sell it for anything more than $400, and that would just be a complete waste of $$$.

I have a JMP 2204 that doesn't take shit from anything. It was my second real amp and my first Marshall so I will most likely be keeping it till death.

The 2 in my sig.
And my Metro '68 Plexi, once i build it :)

I'm not saying because then I'll want to buy it again. Don't be costin' me money and stuff!

Probably my Mark IV. It has shit tubes in it right now and it still kills!

I don't see my 800/2204 going anywhere anytime soon. Love the Splawn Competition (and use it as my #1 on stage), but the Marshall is the one that I would keep if push came to shove.

I just sold it.

Actually you sold it 7 months ago, you're just still in the denial phase :D   :D

Really though, you could use some more options on it

The only thing missing is a tiny George Lynch that walks out and teaches me new riffs every hour, but I am in negotiations with Mark on that feature. :D

my 73 marshall superbass, heavily modded with a dual master and a cascading gain mod to v1, mullards in the pre, and svet 6550's in the power section

These pictures should make my answer very clear.

I really like my Engl. Would I ever sell it? Of course I would, for the right price. I'm not hooked on anything right now. Although I do have a Dr Z Rt 66 on the way... we'll just have to see how things go.
