What is your "I'll never sell it!" amp?

Probably my '78 2203. Not for tryin' either. I tried selling it a bunch of times and never got any takers so I decided fuck it and got it modded by Soldano. Sounds great, it always did. I'd owned it for 10 years before the mod and was just bored. I'm so used to it and it covers so many bases, I think it will always be around.

I financed a 71 superlead from GC a few years back for $1000 on a whim and after realizing that my maxed CC's were no joke (also unemployed at the time), came to my senses and sold it about a month later for $1500. Fuck I wish I had had a job. I still miss that amp. The same GC has a late '69 they want $4000 for. They sound about the same.

In the early/mid 90's I had 2 Silver Jubilees. I wish I had kept one. Not Holy Grail by any means but still very cool. Great low end on those 2555's.

My Peavey VTM 120

One of the few peavey's I like. Its also the longest I kept an amp. And i replaced the old head cab with a 5150 head cab. looks sweet now.

Great amp.

If I could have one amp back, it would be the Mark IIC+. Dumb move. :aww:

Mesa Mark II C+ It was the greatest amp evar! Minutes of fun.......

I had a regular IIC I let go, not my favorite amp but for what I had in it I feel pretty stupid for selling it. :aww:

My Mark IV will always stay...mostly because I love the hell out of that amp, secondly because my woman would shoot me if I got rid of it...

Never say nevaaaaaaaah but I think I won't sell my Triaxis.

My Cieratone JMP 800 clone that Nik modded to be somewhat darker, and dirtier (slight gain boost) with out side bias points pots and a loop
And my Tech21 PSA-1 damn I love that thing!

My Bogner Shiva - it's just where I am "at home".

I recently go a Budda Superdrive 30 which is awesome, I could imagine this to become another "never sell" amp, it has the perfect blend of smooth/spongy and dirty/crunchy and a very addictive clean(ish) tone.

I have a Egnater MOD50 on order, this will be an interesting one as I could overcome my GAS with new modules rather than new amps

I think the only amp I have that I wouldn't sell under any circumstances is my Mesa/Boogie TriAxis. Everything else I have, I love or like a lot but, there are still a couple of things on the market that I like just as much (like Egnator modular stuff) as them, so you never know.

My Voodoo modded DSL. I debated selling it a few weeks ago. When I brought it up to psychodave's it started sounding different. At first I thought it was the cabs we played through. When I got home I realized I had a damaged tube. Now it's it's back on my "will never sell" list.

Mesa mark IV, just too good and versatile to sell. Its a great amps and I could be happy with just it if I was forced down to one. My marshall 2553 silver jubilee is a close runner up.

Mega, being a 5150 fan, have you tried the 5150 III yet?

Not that I would have mine modded, but I've always wanted to ask how they sound after that mod?

I think this will be a surprise to some but my Tremoverb. I've had it for eight or nine years and I still LOVE it.
