I have boards to do CE-2 clones .... I've built and sold a bunch a while back .... you can still get original BBD chips .... but they are pricey as all hellIve been looking at vintage CE-2's lately...
Based on vertexes reputation, I’m sure is a copy of someone else mod or community knowledgeany schematics out there of it ??
There was some good gear in that line and he was doing things.I liked the original home plate style boxes best. Made in USA. I had a J&H for a long time. It seems like he was just content to produce the one spot cause he hasn't done anything in 15 years.....Miss this whole line....

Visual Sound which later became True Tone when he shipped manufacture to China. Are these Route 66?
They actually are pretty quiet compared to everything else from that time.I have owned a bunch of different EQ. This one was the one. I just remember if being a bit noisy. A updated version of it would be awesome.
Agreed!!!
Hurd that. I was thinking about grabbing one of the older H20's since they can be had so cheap, less than a hundred bucks. I won't gig it though so it's likely just money sitting on a shelf.Love the h2o….so underrated imo….
100%. I cant understand why nobody started making these when Mesa stopped. Nobody even uses the same frequencies Mesa uses. This would be an instant success.
yup .... I have boards and NOS Germanium transistors to do Dallas Rangemaster clones .... mine has the input cap mod with three different values one being the same one as the Iommi Rangemaster .... and I upgraded the parts to all really nice axial caps and old school carbon resistors .Did you ever make a rangemaster?
Also if it could be done in a smaller footprint. Wish they had made the EQ’s in the drive pedals that had them to be accessible by themselves.100%. I cant understand why nobody started making these when Mesa stopped. Nobody even uses the same frequencies Mesa uses. This would be an instant success.
A PURPLE circuit board AND an RCA knob?yup .... I have boards and NOS Germanium transistors to do Dallas Rangemaster clones .... mine has the input cap mod with three different values one being the same one as the Iommi Rangemaster .... and I upgraded the parts to all really nice axial caps and old school carbon resistors .
