Tell me about the Virginia Beach scene if you are feeling like sharing.

Being a tourist town, there are a million bars and events so plenty of opportunity for anyone that wants it. VB likes to party. Original music is tougher, but again it’s there if you want it, but Richmond has more going on in that world for sure.

Tesla put on a great show at HOB. It was almost ruined when I got into an altercation with some coxucker who wouldn’t sit the fuck down. He kept picking spots and his final one was in front of me., then he was led out. I had the high ground-literally. He fortunately wasn’t stupid enough to fully engage. Love that venue

That's what I tell people. It is about making time to live your dreams. I'm 55 years old and work a full time job and have a family. Never thought I'd be hauling gear to gigs but i appreciate it more now.

Not a gig exactly, but I bought this to a cover band tryout/jam session a few days ago...

It ended up being overkill, even in 10w mode, but still sounded fantastic.

I was in a Maiden tribute ‘92-93 era. We were called Powerslave and did the entire Live After Death concert. Our stage looked like the inside stage shot of the album cover. Had pyro and an Eddie etc. Very fun, I did the Adrian parts. A few vids on my Youtube of it, not very good quality vhs.

The Suhr PT15 > Mather 2x12 got the job done here with mostly my Hamer Korina Special most of the evening. Good gig, busy night with a solid crowd. Went with the PT15 needing some dedicated cleans the Wizard won’t do

Man for real, Quilter is so good for power. If I have to use solid state, that’s always my preferred option. I used the Mini 101 forever.
