Thanks guys for all your help, I'm so glad I found this place. Much better than HC, much nicer folks as well. Now if I could only sell this Mesa Boogie. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to get rid of it. I've posted it up on craigslist, and was thinking about taking it to musicgoround, I know I would get more for it if I sell it myself, but I don't know.....whats y'alls thoughts?
Maybe you could try The Gear Page???...or MTS forum, or Rig Talk???....Music go round will only give you 1/2 of what they'll sell it for...or maybe try Jaws Guitars in GA...Jim traded me a Rebel 30 head for my Tourmaster head even swap...was a good trade for both of us...

well I just talked to the guy at Jaws Guitars, and he told me he would want $100 on top of the Mesa to do a trade for a Rebel 30 head....kind of seems like a rip off to me......am I just out of my mind or should this Mesa be worth AT LEAST $1000?!?!?

WTF?? That sounds crazy. I'd do some more research and not take that deal. Check eBay...what are some going prices for your model amp?

it's a triple rectifier...so brand new they are $1600, used I would imagine $1000.....ebay has them from $800 on up...but the $800 is still at bidding so it could go up.....

Just like a car, you're always better off selling outright vs. trading in...just my 2 cents!

I agree just sucks cuz I don't think anybody is in the market right now for $1000 amp

adicreed...sell it on ebay, or if you want an Egnater, go on their site and look up the dealers...then call them and ask them to do a trade with you....like I said earlier, Jaws Guitars was great on a trade with me...
