What solo are you working on?

Yeah I do this too, but at the moment Im only coming back to playing again after 8 months of not playing. I have no callouses, so G chords are blowing my mind at the moment.

Same here, not quite 8 months though. Mostly my pointer finger tip is killing me when I play. These fingers better hurry the hell up and toughen back up.

aww dude, Im in bloody pieces, I cant play diddly squat and my fingers are just red. Everything sounds completely shit.

I am primarily working on the outro solo to November Rain myself, but that 2nd passage where he's playing in all sorts of triplets, then into straight 16ths, then a bunch of 32nds, back to 1 or 2 16ths, then back to more 32nds, etc is frying my brain and my little fingers; though I have it up to about 62bpm note for note. Just 30 more to go...

Anywho, I'm taking a break from it to learn Angry Again's solo. What are you guys and gals working on?

This solo was huge on my development . I still have the tab book . Even though I’m considered a shredder , slash is what made me get good as a young one

And
Adrian Smiths solo in Wickerman - Iron Maiden.
Both showcase some Phrygian stuff.
