Could be. With those old Filtertrons and the amp probably no more than halfway up, probably less. It would clank pretty good. Also who knows what kind of speakers were used, a big part of it right there.

That one’s in the top five of my favorite AC/DC songs, and those opening chords through that cranked Marshall will rip your head off

I wanna rip someone’s head off when I hear those opening chords LOL. That’s about as good as it gets to ideal stock Marshall hard rock tone.

Back and Black and after they really developed good layering of Angus doing rhythmic, higher pitch double stops and melody stuff on the basic rhythm tracks. It gives this rich full sound but it’s not something jumping out as a lead element. I wonder if Mutt got him into that.
