What was the last used Larry to hit the classifieds?

Larry amp, guitar....and then lessons so I can learn how to play

but I can't learn how to play until I get a Larry amp and a guitar!
Even though I haven't spent as much on gear as most of the forum I should still be an amazing guitarist by now. It's probably money that would've been better invested in an ozark mountain vacation cottage or gulf coast beach home. I could still suck at guitar on my porch but no one would have to listen to it.

its all part of the journey man...them vacation cottages/beach homes would not have brought you the joys of guitar playing/hanging on forums

Well these days singing and playing the blues because I been doing it to long and I'm to old and broke to go do something else.

lol good cause if you were doing it to get your "damn money back"....lol try the naked cowboy onlyfans approach instead lolololol

I agree with a lot of this, but thinking anything Larry comes as known as a Jose circuit is just not going to happen. Nobody knows who Larry is outside of the guitar forum community. Maybe amp builders (which many probably have no idea who he is… the ones that may are probably forum members already) and hardcore iced earth fans. The reality is the amps are just so rare because of how infrequently amps are delivered that nobody knows what a Larry is.
It’s niche for sure. But you only need a few folks to really want it. And the key is; there are very few of them making it even harder to get. Idk. Hard to tell until it happens. New what is the cost? 8k? Idk
I recall mine being roughly 7k with the recap and service by Larry himself and importation which required a specific travel case. The cost to get it to US was about 900 bucks. Weight determines cost. I know at least 4 people that wanted that amp when it popped up.

Larry’s I understand the new price is up there pretty close to a new wizard. But because his amps aren’t out there it’ll drive up the price more… basically only here on the forums. Because guys here are nuts lol. I’m included with that.

There are reasonable people to deal with here that are great, but there are some guys specifically (we all know who they are) that just list shit at crazy crazy prices THOUSANDS over the last sold item just to see if someone here will bite. Because we all love gear. I mean I’ve seen dozens of listings where I know the guy paid 3, 4 k a few months ago, and all the items that are the same sell for that, then go list their shit 7, 8k lol. It’s ridiculous.

Yeah. I typically sell for what I have in it or trade but in general I don’t sell; my purchases just goes into the vault- aka Hotel California

Yeah I mean, I even get guys that get a killer deal on an amp and sell it for going rate. Totally fair and realistic.

But the guys that know an amp generally sells for 4,5 k or whatever and then try listing it for 10. Then bump it in the classifieds every day for months.

Don't take it so hard. I was gonna accuse all of you guys of being nuts per @Bram576 post but then I realized I have an 8k purple twinkleland amp in my cart over at reverb. I'm playing Aerosmith's dream on through it right now in my head.

I don't know much....but on Rig-Talk...we are all rockstars!!! lol lunch time for me, can't wait to come back and see how this thread has progressed. so far it has delivered :hys:
