Ha ha, good thread! My first "real" band was named "United" in around 1990-92. We started out only doing covers, then won studio time in a battle of the bands contest. We started writing originals and ended up with the following four tunes. Kinda poppy, huh? We were a 3 piece. The singer played bass, I played guitar and sang backup, then the drummer played drums (obviously.)
I actually played drums on "Broken Hearted" and "Miss You Much" on one of those little Roland 8 pad thingies with a kick trigger thing. Funny... You can hear the quality of the recording and our songwriting improving on the last two songs.
I think I used a Crate solid-state 2x12" combo and MIM Strat on these songs.

PS - A side story... The singer/bass player never knew his dad when he was growing up. We won studio time and found out after the first or second recording session that the project studio owner/engineer was his dad. Strange how that worked out, huh? That's how they met.
EDIT - I think I may have used a borrowed Fender Princeton Chorus 2x10" combo on those last two songs.
