Thanks for the replys guys. All great suggestions and I have some experience with a few of them. I really the Maxon 808 right now, but plan on geting 2 more boost pedals to go on a pedal board for different vibes. I guess you could say I'm on a boost kick. That's something I've never been into until recently.
By the way, I'm using the 808 with my Cameron Aldrich with the gain on the amp set real low. Love it. LOVE IT I SAY!!

Iv'e owned a Blue Boy and a Blues Pro. I compared them to the BB Preamp on Paiges Mako and the BB sounded better than both of them IMHO. The BB also does have a lot of gain available.
