#1 Duncan PATB distortion in my mahogany RG520QS
Duncan Custom in just about anything usually always sounds good
JB's in some of my RG's sound great too
Tone Zone in my Ibanez PG is rude, in a good way

All sound good to me. A few tweaks on the amp and I can get "my tone".

Hey Chub how do the 59/Hybrib and Custom differ? I've heard a lot from my assistant about the 59/Hybrid and have used Customs for years.

It has one coil from a 59, and one from the custom.

Havent tried one yet. I always liked the 59, I imagine a slightly hotter version like this would be great.
