So far all my import never had a import fee . Except for when I buy from Hermanson in Sweden . It’s happened twice with him . Boy other countries I never had to pay anything . Nashville tried to explain that was becasue Hermanson did it a certain way that he had him bypass . Idk it was confusing . But ya when I bought fro Hermanson both times I hsd to pay $75 . So it’s weird . But I’m prepared if it happens again this time .
But you never know . But ya I’ve got to persisted for anything . How much they charge you ?sorry the typings even worse

I’m in Denmark. And from what I read it’s the importers from US that pay the 20% fee. Not Europe. Which will result in less import and yes Europe will counter fee everything from us as well.

Depends on what it is. Sometimes I get around $0-100 per $1k, other times it's about $150+ per $1k.
Part of the issue is where the fabric originates from, as well. The highest I've dealt with was 35%, iirc.
The probability of fees seem to do more with whether or not it goes though UPS than other shippers.

I’m certainly no expert, so take all this with a pinch of salt, but I did a quick read up on the tariffs yesterday and this is what I found.

1. Importer pays.

2. All goods from the EU will have a 20% tariff as a general rule.

3. This EY article (below) indicates that goods listed in Annex II of the tariff order will be exempt. Also, goods en route and on the final leg of their journey to the US when the tariffs came into effect will be exempt.

4. A link to Annex II is below. If you go to the last page you see items under code 85423300 - electronic integrated circuits: amplifiers. However, I think guitar amps would be covered under code 8518, which isn’t listed.

As I said, I’m no expert and only had a quick look yesterday, so I may well have missed something. I really hope you all get your amps with getting hit with the tariffs - a Larry (and life in general) is expensive enough as it is.
