Thank you all for these suggestions and the time to provide them for me!!
I'm just waiting now for the amp guy doing the mod to tell me when I can ship it to him then I'll get the box using one of your suggestions.
I think that I will look around for foam options as well so that I could try to cut out pieces to fit around the end of the amp the way Mesa Boogie has them for their amp shipping boxes.
