This place is a lot better with Picasso on ignore, trust me. Despite all the other idiocy here he's the only one on my list. No, you're not getting to me, life's just too short to constantly be reminded how insanely infantile you are. So have at it, I won't be seeing it.

2008 taught me to be prepared for the worse at all times, so I am. Things are not super great, but they are not that bad considering we are healing from a global pandemic.

We can pretend it's Joe Biden, or even Trump, but SHTF because of Covid. Trump printed a ton of relief money that adds to your $$ being worth less, then Joe printed more relief money that makes your $$ worth less. Then add in all the global supply chain issues, people with money to burn but nothing on the shelf to buy = HIGH PRICES. Takes a while for everything to settle back down.

Now on to your debt concern. I think this is valid, I'm a bit concerned about consumer debt. I think people got use to free money, and then when it ran out, they started using credit. Interesting to see if they start mass defaulting, or pay it down. I kind of feel they are able to pay it down, this will also slow spending, and take more heat off the inflation.

And I was so thankful for being in prison dude around those times. I know-it sounds crazy. When gas hit over $4/gal around here people were struggling. Drive offs at gas stations, stealing food. Could not imagine trying to do say-contract work or say...just being in a position where I did not happen to have a very high paying job.

Yeah, you were in the right job for the times.

I've been a software engineer most my adult working life, so I pretty much fit into that contract work scenario during that time.

Luckily, I grew up with my father owning a tree service. He had me out busting ass with him as far back as I could remember. So I was not opposed to doing manual labor to pick up the slack.

During those hard times in 2008-2010, one day I'd be installing a network, and workstations at a Dentist office, and the next day I'd be swinging a sledge hammer doing demolition work. I shit you not. You do what you gotta do 🤷‍♂️

I don’t care what anybody says and I don’t care if anybody believes me, but these people came off that bus ready to, I don’t know work, ready to fight. They had on helmets. They had on kneepads and elbow pads and face guards and mouthpieces and purses and bags and backpacks full of things, carrying…

Eyewitness: “No, no, no, no. There were just as many black people as there were white people getting off the same buses. There were just as many women as there were men.

Charles Patrick: “Wait a minute. You’re telling me that Black Lives Matter and the KKK got off the same damn bus.”

Eyewitness: “Yeah, but wait a minute. Wait a minute. I think I might have left something out. Those people I was talking about who were having those civilized conversations in the restaurant and in the town, they were also BLM. Um, I didn’t see any KKK or anything like that, but after seeing the people you could tell, or they would even offer up the information that they were affiliated or associated or in the KKK or some other Arian, whatever, but they were having conversations with each other.”

Charles Patrick: “You’re saying that in the restaurants, Black Lives Matter and the KKK were having civil conversations?”

Eyewitness: “Yes, they were! They were talking like you and I are talking.

Eyewitness: “Well um, there was a couple of men in the restaurant that kind of let us all back to the back door, which led into the alley. And a lot of us had parked there in the alley, but there was, I want to say, probably 20 or 30 of us. We went out the back door because the people from the buses were coming from the front. And they weren’t walking. They weren’t skipping. They were full on running and screaming and throwing things. I mean they came off the bus angered and running to do damage.”
