Unfortunately with a full time career, a family, other hobbies, and trying to get a part time business off the ground......I don't have time for bands any longer. I barely have time to play for fun. I have thought many times of selling all my gear but I just can't do it. 
Been seriously considering hanging up the guitar for good or at least a long time. Just don't have time these days or much desire. Sucks.

I quit playing guitar for about a month after I left my last formative band. Wasn't long before the bug bit again. I went to a friend's gig and his rig went haywire. He called me over to help and as soon as I felt the thud of the kick drum I remembered why I love it so much.
Just put your shit in storage and wait it out.
